Creating a good logo is always hard, here I give some inspiration and help in creating what looks like a 3D arrow that will work for many different compnays or websites.

Creating a good logo is always hard, here I give some inspiration and help in creating what looks like a 3D arrow that will work for many different compnays or websites.
Step 1:
To get started we are going to create the upper half shape of this logo in this step.
I will use the Rounded Rectangle Tool to create the first shape needed, but if you don’t want rounded corners on your arrow use the Rectangle Tool instead. Both of these tools are located under shapes in the Tools window.
Now we don’t want rounded corners in the middle of the arrow so we need to subtract the lower part of our shape, select the Rectangle tool and set the mode to Subtract from shape area(-) in the options bar.
Draw the rectangle just so that is covers the rounded corners in the bottom of the other shape.
When you are finished it should look something like the shape to the left.

Step 2:
Now wee need to skew this shape so that it will get pointy.
Go to Edit > Transform path > Skew and drag the middle upper handle to the left so that the shapes looks something like the one to the left.

Step 3:
Now it's time to create the lower half of the arrow, start out by duplicating the current layer, hit ctrl + j or right click in the layer and select duplicate layer.
Well now this new layer has to be rotated and flipped to fit into the arrow. Go to Edit > Transform path > Rotate 180 degrees and Edit > Transform path > Flip Horizontal.
Align the layer so that it fits with the other layer, expected outcome can be viewed to the left.

Step 4:
Now wee need to change the color of the lower part to some darker color to make it look like it's 3D.
Select one of shape tools in the Tools window, now in your options bar you will have a color picker where you can pick the new color for this shape, remember making it darker.

The result
Well now we are finished in this tutorial and you have to use your own imagination a bit to create a logo for your business or website.Remember that any part applied to this shape should be darker beneath the middle to make it look "3D".
